Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and efficient vendor payments.
• Manage and mentor a team of AR / AP specialists, setting clear goals, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.
• Monitor AR aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue accounts to improve cash flow
• Review and approve payment runs (checks, ACH, wires), ensuring vendor compliance, accurate coding, and alignment with company policies.
• Resolve customer and vendor disputes, payment discrepancies, and billing issues through effective communication and cross-functional coordination.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company accounting policies, including 1099 and sales tax requirements.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams on budgeting, cash forecasting, and month-end close activities related to AR / AP.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation initiatives, and standardization of AR / AP workflows.
• Prepare reports and audit schedules, and support both internal and external audits.
• Contribute to ERP system enhancements and lead documentation of standard operating procedures for AR / AP functions.

Qualifications

Compensation Range : $105,000 - $125,000 / annual salary
