Field Support Engineer

Description

Trilon is seeking Field Support Engineers to provide onsite technology support for Talbert, Bright & Ellington (TBE) and ensure our employees remain productive and confident in their digital workplace. This role goes beyond traditional escalation support : Field Support Engineers are the face of IT in our offices, delivering hands-on assistance, enabling new ways of working, and championing adoption of Trilon’s core technologies.

While the primary focus will be on supporting TBE and nearby regional offices, this position will also contribute to the broader Trilon IT support framework , assisting with field support initiatives across all Trilon offices as needed.

They ensure a friction-free IT environment within our offices and ensure that our staff remain productive and enabled by our technology. From onboarding new employees to supporting office moves, hardware lifecycle events, and partner integrations, Field Support Engineers ensure a seamless experience for our staff. They also play a critical role in employee engagement, serving as trusted advisors for technology use in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the local, hands-on IT presence in Trilon offices, ensuring employees receive timely, effective support

Deliver seamless technology experiences for onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, hardware setup, and access configuration

• Support office relocations and new office setups, ensuring infrastructure, endpoints, and collaboration tools are deployed correctly
• Manage the full hardware lifecycle, including procurement, installation, maintenance, and refresh of laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
• Provide onsite flex support for partner integrations and major IT or business project transitions
• Conduct training sessions on Trilon’s core technologies to improve adoption and enhance the digital maturity of billable staff
• Partner with L3 engineering teams to install, configure, and troubleshoot edge infrastructure such as networking, servers, and local systems
• Document unique applications, workflows, and processes in regional offices, recommending standardized enterprise solutions when appropriate
• Partner with the helpdesk team to resolve escalated issues while also proactively addressing local IT needs
• Act as a trusted point of contact between employees and IT leadership, capturing feedback and opportunities for improvement
• Maintain IT knowledge base documentation and contribute to consistent service delivery playbooks
• Champion a culture of productivity, digital enablement, and excellent customer service
