The Project Manager 2 manages the overall project direction, completion and financial outcome for assigned projects. Responsible for directing and mentoring on-site staff. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong communication and client service skills.

Practices implementation of Operation Zero and all Manhattan safety policiesAll qualities / responsibilities of a Project Manager 1, plus :Manages Conflict Resolution Process with OwnersManages Change Order Negotiations with SubcontractorsPrepares and submits Change Order Requests and completes negotiations for changes.Settles disputes and back changes.Serve as Client - Project Management Point of ContactDevelops and Leads Pre-Con MeetingsResponsible for Project CloseoutReviews and approves subcontractor and vendor pay applications, invoices, and payables for accuracyPrepare Labor Analysis / labor projections and manage job costs.Manages the process of preparation of the Project Execution PlanManages preparation and issuing of Subcontractor Information / Welcome Package Lead Owner / Architect MeetingsAssign Project Team ResponsibilitiesOrganize and Lead Trade Contractor MeetingsLead Owner / Architect / Contractor MeetingsManage Process of Master Schedule / Oversee UpdatesPrepares Final PSR and presents the report in a Project Close-Out meeting.Lead Project Execution Planning ProcessIdentifies and manages risk proactively to mitigate Project RiskLeads Safety Management Teams on ProjectsResponsible for conducting themselves in accordance with our Guiding Principles and exhibiting attributes matching the Way We Work.Other duties as assignedJob skills and abilities guidelines include :

Bachelor's Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. May substitute required education degree with related experience on a one-to-one basis8 years of industry experienceProven ability to manage projects in excess of $25 millionWorking conditions and physical efforts include :
