Coal Program Manager (Environmental Program Manager I)

You will be a first-line supervisor of a team of professionals who are responsible for permitting and inspecting the coal mines that continue to supply the base-load electricity for the State of Utah. You will report to the Deputy Director for Mining and be required to balance the fostering of reasonable coal mine development throughout the state while ensuring that it is done in compliance with the rules. This position presents a compelling opportunity to contribute to the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining. As the Coal Program Manager you will manage several different technical professionals and oversee all permitting and inspections / enforcement of coal mining in the state of Utah.
