Schedule Night shift, 12N; 48 hours per week, every other weekend. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for protecting, promoting, and optimizing health and abilities, preventing illness and injury, and alleviating suffering through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. The RN advocates for individuals and families while ensuring compliance with all standards of practice and professional development according to the New York State Nurse Practice Act and United Health Services policies. Responsibilities Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients. Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management. Administer medications safely based on pharmacological knowledge and organizational policies. Participate in resource utilization and staffing management. Comply with nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements. Engage in professional development and complete all mandatory education. Support new employees and students in a learning environment. Contribute to nursing research and evidence-based practice. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current NYS RN License BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) Med / Surg Tele experience Six (6) months to three (3) years of nursing experience Management experience (0-3 years) Why ARMStaffing?
