Strategic Project Leader
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery. This role is pivotal in driving innovative solutions that meet complex customer needs while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a fresh perspective to problem-solving, leveraging existing frameworks to deliver impactful outcomes. With a strong foundation in project management, cost modeling, and market analysis, this position requires a proactive leader who can coordinate across departments, manage resources effectively, and maintain schedule integrity throughout the production lifecycle. This role also plays a key part in business development, fostering client relationships and translating custom requirements into actionable project plans-all while maintaining accountability for profitability and compliance with credentialing standards.
Responsibilities :
- Determine and develop approaches to assignments for delivery of creative solutions to customers.
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
- Prepare extensive cost models and generate substantial project proposals based on the calculation model and current market analysis for the project management group.
- Lead projects from concept to delivery while partnering with internal and external cross-functional teams.
- Lead cross-functional, strategic projects while also leading internal projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain close relationships with internal departments in order to coordinate ancillary activities.
- Dynamically manage projects while adhering to applicable regulatory guidelines, and cGMP.
- Assist in determining resource requirements and allocate discrete project goals amongst the departments required for the projects.
- Participate in recommendations for improvements of process and administrative issues or inefficiencies that impact the ancillary programs.
- Prioritize projects and day-to-day workflow for self and other team members, internal and external.
- Create and maintain the customer specific production schedule for both long-term forecast and short-term production demands; follow up on the workflow through each step to maintain schedule integrity and communication.
- Maintain an understanding of the document creation process which includes, but is not limited to the following : Lot / Expiration form creation, material receipt / release, batch record preparation and ERP work order creation.
- Participate in business development by informing prospective clients of our manufacturing, development and analytical capabilities.
- Collect custom project requirements / specifications from clients while building effective business relationships.
- Has profit and loss responsibility. Must consent to participate in and meet Agilent approved customer / vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain site access, unless prohibited by law. Requirements may include, but are not limited to : pre- / post-employment background checks, various forms of drug testing, vaccinations, fingerprinting, proof of valid identification, and / or adherence to customer-specific substance abuse programs.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.Typically, at least 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.8+ years of demonstrated success in maintaining multiple client projects, multi-tasking capability required.Ability to create a solutions-oriented approach and customer focus to drive towards business goals.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.Full Professional Proficiency : Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.Experience with pharmaceutical development, chemistry and / or DNA / RNA analytical experience is highly desired.cGMP regulatory knowledge preferred.Must have a team player mentality with the ability to collaborate and negotiate within cross-functional teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable with presenting to multidisciplinary internal / external audiences.High Reasoning : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization.Available for occasional business travel.Additional Details :

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $114,080.00 - $178,250.00 / yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
