Job Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Unit : Emergency Room (ER)

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (6 : 45 pm – 6 : 45 am)

Weekly Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift Duration : 12-hour night shifts

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,780 - $1,910

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required

Patient Volume : Average 30 ER visits per day

Trauma Level : Level IV trauma center

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility

At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (2 years preferred)

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

First-time travel nurses welcome; prior travel nursing experience preferred

PA fingerprinting and PA Childline Abuse Clearance required

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a busy ER setting

Perform rapid assessments, triage, and initiate appropriate interventions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Accurately and efficiently document patient care

Respond to trauma cases and acute medical emergencies

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and Pennsylvania state regulations

Float to other hospital units as needed
