Job Description

Primary Function of Position

This role leads advanced product management engineering activities for complex medical devices, supporting strategic business goals, compliance, and innovation.

Essential Job Duties

  • Lead requirements development and management for major product lines or platforms.
  • Manage key technical documentation and design history for critical products.
  • Direct product development teams in resolving complex technical and regulatory challenges.
  • Guide feasibility assessments, market feedback integration, and user studies.
  • Oversee risk management activities and ensure robust design controls.
  • Interface with regulatory affairs for global submissions and responses.
  • Review, approve, and sign-off on product verification and validation protocols and reports.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, and quality for new product introductions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and innovation in product management.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Education

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience in product management with a bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Expert knowledge of medical device design control, risk management, and regulatory submissions.
  • Advanced project leadership and technical guidance skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective cross-functional influence and stakeholder management.
  • Experience mentoring and developing team members.
  • Robust written and verbal communication.
