We offer a competitive package of employee benefits for 30 to 40-hour week positions. You will receive a defined contribution amount of up to $14,580 per year (prorated for part-time employees working less than 40 hours per week) to purchase the benefits of your choice on a cafeteria plan basis. - Support Quality Improvement (QI) leadership in developing, implementing, and coordinating the Quality Improvement Program (QIP) to ensure high-quality mental health programs and services that align with the agency's clinical framework, established practices and systems, contract requirements, and financial goals.
- Contribute to the continuous development and implementation of improvement activities for clinical operations, including :
- Gathering up-to-date regulations and requirements.
- Identifying effective and appropriate clinical practices for the clients served and supporting their implementation.
- Supporting best-practice consultation and supervision for direct service staff.
- Completing internal audits promptly and providing clear written feedback to program managers.
- Conducting training and collaborating with managers and QI leadership to develop coaching and correction plans addressing deficiencies identified in audits.
- Improving internal audit protocols and practices, including utilizing AVATAR reports to collect pertinent data.
- Contributing to the development, implementation, monitoring, and analysis of data collection methods for client outcomes, satisfaction surveys, program evaluation, and other quality indicators.
- Responding to client complaints and grievances in a timely manner and following established protocols.
- Implementing and maintaining risk management data collection and analysis systems, including written incident reports.
- Assisting with reporting events outside the agency.
- Supporting the QI Director in developing corrective action plans for issues identified through risk assessments, audits, and investigations.
- Designing and implementing educational presentations to facilitate understanding and implementation of client safety standards.
- Promoting and encouraging error reporting, including near misses, through a non-punitive reporting system across the agency.
- Post-graduate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Quality Management or Improvement, or a behavioral science. (E)
- At least two years of supervisory or project management experience. (E)
- Direct experience working with serious and persistent mental illness or serious emotional disturbance. (D)
- High competence in Medi-Cal billing / coding for mental health services. (D)
- Current and valid licensure from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, or licensure from the California Board of Psychology as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD). (D)
- Proven typing speed of 35 net wpm and intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Windows-based databases, and basic internet navigation. (E) Familiarity with EHR systems like AVATAR. (D)
- Familiarity with documentation for residential treatment, including Crisis Residential, Crisis Stabilization, and Day Rehab. (D) Knowledge of CCL and DHCS regulations. (D)
- Demonstrated ability to :
