Patco products are sold in every major retailer including Costco, H.E.B., Kroger’s, Target, Walmart, and Whole Foods Market, just to name a few.

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for ensuring that all co-manufacturers and production facilities for, or on behalf of, Patco Brands are producing products of the highest quality, both safely and sustainably, and in accordance with company standards, policies, practices, and procedures.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Auditor, with a proven track record in driving exceptional quality performance, continuous improvement, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities :

  • Travel to all production and co-manufacturing facilities on a regular basis.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a documentation and record-keeping system for all quality control which includes : photos of facilities, lot numbers and lot dates, code dates, sensory analysis, and all documents completed onsite
  • Ensure all relevant information is captured, recorded and accurately entered in a timely manner on company’s Google Drive
  • Monitor and document all aspects of the production process, including raw materials, processing, packaging, and storage, to ensure adherence to quality specifications
  • Maintain an audit schedule for all production and co-manufacturing facilities
  • Facilitate the development and reporting of organizational metrics that lead to enhanced audit organization
  • Assess and provide feedback on the quality of corrective action plans to ensure the effective completion and mitigation of all risks
  • Be in the know of all industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in beverage and quality assurance.
  • Ensure Contract Manufacturing sites are adhering to the company’s set Quality Standards and other relevant food safety standards set by customers we work with

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4-6 years in an operational quality or food safety role within a leading food or beverage manufacturing organization
  • HACCP Certification required
  • SQF, BRC, Internal Audit, and Better Process Control School Certification required.
  • Canning and Bottling Experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills (written, oral and presentation)
  • Experience with comprehensive root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
  • Demonstrates examples of use of these tools in the solving of quality problems / risk
  • Understanding of importance of technical governance in delivering a quality product
  • Demonstrates evidence of critical thinking, logic, patience, reasoning, continuous learning, and development
  • Ability to Travel up to 80%.
