Location : Saginaw, MIClinical (0.7 FTE) : Regular inpatient day shifts with integrated teaching of students and residentsAdministrative (0.3 FTE) : Leadership duties, committee participation, and program oversightBlend of clinical care with administrative leadership, serving as a key liaison between the hospital medicine team, administration, and other departments.Provide and manage direct inpatient care for Internal Medicine patientsSupervise, mentor, and evaluate residents and medical students in both clinical and hospital settingsCollaborate with hospital leadership to develop and monitor quality, safety, and performance metricsServe as liaison between Hospital Medicine, hospital administration, and other departments to enhance care delivery and operational efficiencyParticipate in recruitment, orientation, and professional development of hospitalist providersSupport educational programs, conferences, and curriculum development within the residency and medical education frameworkLead or contribute to quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary meetingsRequirements :
MD or DO degree; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM)Eligible for Michigan medical licensure and faculty appointment with a College of MedicineDemonstrated leadership, teaching, and communication skillsCommitment to serving diverse and underserved populationsAbout the Area
