Benefit Advocate
Position Summary : The Benefit Advocate serves as the first point of contact for member inquiries, providing top-tier customer service and ensuring timely resolution of issues related to billing, coverage, claims, eligibility, and general benefits support. This role collaborates with internal teams, carriers, and clients to deliver an exceptional service experience while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities :
- Respond to calls, emails, and written inquiries from members, clients, and partners.
- Analyze issues, determine solutions, and resolve inquiries in line with company and client standards.
- Perform accurate data entry, documentation, and reporting.
- Support client technology platforms by gathering data, assisting with setup, and liaising with partners.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure client performance standards are met.
- Prepare correspondence and reports for distribution.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GED required; Associate degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools; ability to learn new platforms quickly.State Life / Health license (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish / English / Haitian).
