Nursing Supervisor
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing staff within Endeavor Health Services, ensuring high-quality care, compliance, and effective coordination of nursing staff. This role involves direct care, supervision of nursing personnel, and close collaboration with the Program Manager of Medical Services to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and well-coordinated medical services. The Nursing Supervisor serves as a clinical resource and a key partner in maintaining integrated behavioral and medical care. The Nursing Supervisor is also expected to travel between agency locations to monitor nursing needs, provide guidance, and maintain a visible presence to support and engage the staff they supervise.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and workflows to ensure compliance, efficiency, and quality of care.
- Manage daily operational needs in collaboration with the Program Manager of Medical Services, including staff scheduling, coverage, and resource allocation.
- Work closely with the Program Manager of Medical Services to oversee medication management, including ordering, storage, administration, and monitoring to ensure safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide direct care to individuals, ensuring high-quality, person-centered medical and supportive services.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other program managers, departments and staff to identify and resolve program needs and concerns.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all agency policies, procedures and government regulations including, but not limited to HIPAA.
- Maintain knowledge of community resources and assists with linkage and advocacy.
- Identify crisis situations and implements crisis management interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and monitor individual's response in accordance with agency policy and state / federal regulations.
- Serve as a resource for complex clinical cases, collaborating with prescribers, and other clinical staff.
- Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacy partners, and the Program Manager of Medical Services to address medication-related concerns.
- Participate in planning and implementation of medical services and initiatives, ensuring they meet people's needs and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff ensuring oversight aligns with each staff member's scope of service.
- Collaborate with other supervisors within medical services to ensure all staff have supervision, training, oversight and mentorship.
- Facilitate communication and teamwork across disciplines to ensure continuity of care and adherence to organizational standards.
Qualifications :
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing required.Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in behavioral health nursing preferred.Strong leadership, supervision, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of medication management, clinical assessment, and nursing best practices.Working knowledge of comorbidity of physical and behavioral health.Willingness and ability to travel between agency locations.Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and productivity tracking tools.Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.We offer competitive salaries and an array of employee benefits, including medical, dental, company paid vision, company paid life, AD&D, and Long Term Disability, voluntary life, AD&D, and Short Term Disability, 401 (K) retirement savings plan with company contribution, 10 paid holiday, generous paid vacation, paid sick time, discounted pet insurance and an Employee Assistance Program. Salary $68,250-$74,100 / year depending on education, experience and credential.
