Service Technician - Access Control & Gate Automation

InfraHire is hiring for an Service Technician in Miami, FL

Job Summary :

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with access control systems (phone entry, gate operators, card readers, door strikes, RFID antennas, cameras, etc.) during field service visits
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of installed security systems to ensure optimal operation
• Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and service calls
• Provide technical support and answer client questions regarding their access control systems
• Utilize strong mechanical and low-voltage skills to work effectively with various tools and equipment
• Apply knowledge of computer networking and IP configuration for system setup and troubleshooting
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in all job duties
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues
• Use personal tools; company provides vehicle, cell phone, and support
• Adhere to safety and driving regulations with a clean driving record
• Leverage a strong IT background (preferred) to support advanced security technology needs
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in access control, low-voltage, gate operators, or related fields required
