Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Restaurant Manager for our quick-service restaurant, Red Mesa Mercado. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations, ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent customer service, and driving business growth. This role requires a hands-on leader who is capable of managing the team, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience while meeting financial goals.
Key Responsibilities : Front of House (FOH) Responsibilities :
- Customer Service Management : Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Staff Supervision & Training : Manage, train, and schedule FOH staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about menu offerings and deliver excellent service.
- Sales & Promotions : Oversee daily sales activities, suggestive selling, and promotions to enhance customer experience and boost revenue.
- Customer Conflict Resolution : Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring prompt and effective solutions to maintain customer loyalty.
- Cleanliness & Presentation : Ensure the dining area is clean, well-organized, and adheres to all health and safety standards.
Back of House (BOH) Responsibilities :
Kitchen Oversight : Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food quality, portion control, and consistency in line with brand standards.Inventory & Supply Chain : Manage inventory, track supplies, and ensure proper stock levels by coordinating with suppliers. Minimize waste through effective planning.Food Safety Compliance : Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, conducting regular checks and audits.Kitchen Staff Supervision : Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards, ensuring timely food preparation and optimal kitchen efficiency.Cost Control : Monitor food costs, minimize wastage, and control labor expenses to maximize profitability.General Management Responsibilities :
Financial Management : Oversee daily cash handling, sales reporting, and profit margins. Work towards achieving monthly financial targets.Team Leadership : Inspire and lead a team of FOH and BOH staff, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring accountability, and maintaining high morale.Recruitment & Onboarding : Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members to meet operational needs.Scheduling & Labor Management : Prepare and adjust staff schedules based on business needs, optimizing labor costs and efficiency.Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure the entire restaurant is compliant with all health, safety, and legal regulations.Vendor & Supplier Relations : Build and maintain relationships with vendors for food supplies, equipment, and maintenance.Skills & Qualifications :
Experience : 3+ years in a management role within a quick-service or fast-casual restaurant.Leadership Skills : Strong ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team in both FOH and BOH.Operational Knowledge : Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation, and service delivery.Customer Service : Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.Problem-Solving : Ability to think on your feet and handle fast-paced, high-pressure situations effectively.Financial Acumen : Knowledge of basic accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.Time Management : Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and multi-task between different responsibilities.Technology Proficiency : Familiar with POS systems, inventory management software, and scheduling tools.Food Safety Certification : ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.Benefits :
