Description

Seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for locum opportunities across multiple Michigan locations . Providers will deliver anesthesia independently or in a supervised model depending on site, covering specialties such as general surgery, neurosurgery, OB, regional blocks, ortho, scopes, dental, and urology .

Key Features Across Locations :

Detroit : 3 CRNAs, 40-hour week, Level 1 trauma, high-volume surgical cases (approx. 60 / day), Monday–Friday, daytime shifts

Jackson : 2 CRNAs, Level II trauma, general surgical focus with opportunities in neurosurgery and spinal anesthesia, four 10-hour weekday shifts

Novi : 1 CRNA, flexible for Southfield location, 8–10 hour shifts with optional 12–24 hr shifts, supervised CRNA model, no heart cases

Cadillac : 1 CRNA, call rotation 1 weekday + 1 weekend / month, OB & regional block focus, independent practice

Job Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia for all age groups (pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric)

Provide care for general surgery, neurosurgery, OB, regional blocks, ortho, scopes, dental, urology

Manage ventilation, vital signs, and perioperative care independently or under supervision

Participate in call rotations where required (Cadillac and Novi)

Maintain accurate EMR documentation (Epic or Plexus depending on location)

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards

Job Requirements

AANA Board Certified CRNA – Required

Active Michigan License – Required

Clean Background – Required

ACLS, BLS, PALS – Required

Experience in regional anesthesia, OB, and relevant surgical procedures – Required

Participation in MI Medicaid / CHAMPS – Required (where applicable)

COVID vaccination – Required

Working Hours

Varies by location : 8–10 hour shifts, some 12–24 hr options available (Detroit & Novi)

Call rotations : limited, typically 1 weekday and 1 weekend / month (Cadillac)

Strictly scheduled weekday shifts at select locations (Jackson, Detroit)
