Patient Ambassador - Full Time, Evening/Mid (Tustin)
The Patient Ambassador resolves patient complaints and issues, escalates unresolved issues, and ensures management is aware of issues.
Works to increase patient satisfaction and provides a caring, safe environment to patients. Provides customer satisfaction training when requested by management.
Foothill Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited acute care hospital, licensed for 177 beds120 beds for general acute care, 15 intensive care beds and 42 pediatric sub-acute beds.
Our pediatric sub-acute unit, just one of six in California, serves patients from throughout the state. We care for patients up to 21 years of age who need long-term sub-acute care including ventilator care and nutritional support.
- Listens to and, if needed, coordinates with hospital associates to resolve patient issues and / or complaints. Escalates unresolved issues to management in a timely manner.
- Works in consultation with clinical staff to address requests for comfort items from patients and patients' families. Performs activities to increase patient satisfaction, as needed and / or assigned.
- Directs guests to appropriate areas. Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and others. Maintains confidentiality of patients, families, employees, and visitors.
- Provides customer satisfaction training to hospital associates when requested by management.
- Engages in caring behaviors, taking conscious ownership for work and takes a proactive, deliberate, and thoughtful actions regarding work activities.
Demonstrates appropriate use of independent judgement and decision making. Demonstrates excellent customer service at all times.

- Bachelors degree and / or college courses in healthcare and customer relations
