WAREHOUSE WORKER

Job details Spherion is looking for Warehouse Workers on the West side of South Bend!

The Warehouse Worker plays a key role in giving product a second life. You will be responsible for the physical transformation of returned hardware, focusing on meticulous sorting, detailed inspection, and cosmetic restoration.

Positions on all shifts: ... 1st shift: 7am-3pm, $13/HR
2nd shift: 3pm-11pm, $14/HR
3rd Shift: 11pm-7am, $15/HR

All positions are temp-to-hire in a temperature controlled facility!

Responsibilities:
-Coordinate incoming assets: Efficiently categorize and route incoming hardware.
-Maintain database integrity: Utilize scanning technology to track unit movement.
-Optimize workflow: Organize staging areas to ensure a seamless transition of products from the receiving dock to the refurbishment line.
-Perform multi-point quality checks: Conduct physical and functional inspections on returned cable hardware to identify cosmetic or internal defects.
-Execute hardware restoration: Perform detailed cleaning, component replacement, and cosmetic buffing to return units to "like-new" condition.
-Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues or port obstructions discovered during the refurbishment process.
-Kitting & Assembly: Ensure all necessary peripherals?including remote controls, power adapters, and HDMI cables?are tested and included with the refurbished unit.
-Precision Packing: Execute final boxing and labeling with a focus on presentation and damage prevention during transit.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
-Comfortable utilizing digital tools and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and document daily workflows.

No Warehouse/Manufacturing experience necessary!!!

Education:
No Degree Required

Qualifications:
