Firm Culture and People Experience
- Work with Board of Directors and Leadership Team on developing and executing HR strategic goals
- Maintain and enhance firm culture across multiple offices through reinforcement of Parsons’ core values, including recognitions, events, and other activities
- Oversee and manage employee recognition program, currently utilizing AwardCo
- Develop and implement Parsons Curriculum training program for professional staff and attorneys
- Lead employee communications
- Manage and oversee mentor program for associate attorneys and lateral attorneys
- Develop and manage annual budget covering People Experience, activities, and other events
- Oversee and manage firm’s efforts to recruit and retain diverse candidates, and lead firm’s efforts to promote and ensure inclusive and equitable work environment for all
- Work with Director of Strategic Growth and Director of Recruiting on attorney recruiting efforts, including summer associate program
Human Resource Management
Oversee and manage Human Resource teamManage professional staff recruitment and retentionManage firm’s employee relations and employee performance issues, including investigations, discipline when needed, performance improvement plans and other coaching strategiesManage employee development, including evaluation process for all professional staff, attorneys, and paralegalsDevelop and manage professional staff compensation strategy
Develop and enforce professional staff policies and proceduresManage employee benefits, including working with broker and firm management on all employee benefitsOversee and manage onboarding and offboarding of professional staff and attorneysOversee employee leave processesExpectations and Required Experience
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding firm and personnel mattersMinimum ten years of Human Resources experience, including at least five in a position of leadershipLaw firm experience preferredAbility to effectively communicate with both individuals and large groupsAbility to work collaboratively with all levels of organization, including firm leadershipKnowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws and experience with sensitive or confidential employment investigationsIn-office work expected at a minimum of four days per weekStrong interpersonal skillsConflict resolution training preferredAbility and willingness to travel to other offices in Intermountain West on short notice to handle personnel matters and occasional travel to other offices to connect with professional staff and attorneys across firmExceptional attention to detailProficient in Microsoft suiteFamiliarity with ADP preferredBenefits
