The Need
For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM's Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a Specialist, Compensation and Mobility.
The Specialist, Compensation and Mobility serves as a key member of the HR Operations team by implementing and administering Compensation and Mobility programs which serve to attract and retain talent. This involves ongoing review and evaluation of the effectiveness of programs in addition to ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role ensures competitive, compliant, and mission-aligned compensation practices while facilitating international mobility in a way that supports enterprise needs. This position partners cross-functionally within Global People Support (i.e. Recruiting, Benefits, HRIS & Data, HRBPs, etc.), and Finance, Legal Governance Risk and Compliance (LGRC), and Global Technology Services (GTS).
This position is based in the Washington, DC area and is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays). It reports to the Vice President, Human Resources Operations and is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.
