Gas troenterology Locum Job in Maine Specific Dates Needed February Ongoing Assignment

Monday Friday, 8-hour day (7 AM 4 PM)
Potential for at least one week per month for the remainder of 2026
Credentialing timeframe : 90 days

Shift Description
No weekends, No call
Day call coverage built into schedule for urgent inpatient cases; calls from ER or Hospitalist for procedures such as food bolus removal or bleeding management
Inpatient consults during the day
Endo procedures in OR; one clinic day per week
patients per day in clinic
Requirements
Board Certified Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) Required
Must be available full time and long term Required
ACLS, BLS Required
Institutional ADR ( 35% for all genders) Highly Preferred
Active ME license or IMLC LOQ Highly Preferred (will consider strong candidates in licensing process)
Advanced procedures preferred but not required
ERCP is preferred, but not required
Required Procedures
Lower GI Endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy
Colonoscopy
Upper GI Endoscopy (Diagnostic, with Biopsy, Foreign Body Removal, Banding of Varices)
Therapeutic procedures preferred
Additional Details
Adults outpatient (office / clinic)
Support staff : Full OR team, anesthesiologist + CRNA
ERCP not required
EMR : Epic
