What You'll Do :

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst to provide first- and second-line support for our IT systems and business users. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues, managing service requests, and assisting with infrastructure-related tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will have a blend of strong service desk expertise and foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems.

Job Duties :

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to business users
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Replace or repair parts as required
  • Maintain records of software licenses
  • Manage inventory of IT equipment, software, and supplies
  • Set up accounts, hardware, and profiles for new users, including shipping hardware to remote business users
  • Respond promptly to service issues and requests
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Assist with IT infrastructure project planning and implementation
  • Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology
  • Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures and solutions as well as solution articles for non-technical business users

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred (equivalent experience or certifications accepted).
  • Preferred certifications : CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365 Certified, ITIL Foundation (a plus).
  • Expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on laptops / desktops; experience with Windows OS and basic macOS troubleshooting.
  • Experience onboarding new users, including setting up accounts, devices, and permissions.
  • Support for mobile devices (Android / iPhone), including setup and troubleshooting of email and apps.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Microsoft 365 admin center.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting user accounts, security groups, and access permissions in Entra ID (Azure AD); familiarity with MFA setup.
  • Strong documentation skills : ability to create detailed knowledge base articles for technical and non-technical users.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice), basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN troubleshooting), and endpoint security.
  • Ability to be in the office 3-4 days a week, including mandatory Tuesday attendance.
  • 3-4 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role, preferably within the finance industry.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills, with a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.
  • Compensation :

  • $35-$40 / hour + bonus pay plan
