Details :

This is a part-time position, working approximately 10-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday, at $15.00 an hour. Paid training and orientation are required.

JOB SUMMARY

The Youth Development Specialist- Sports & Fitness is responsible for the safety and supervision of Club members. Under the direction of the Program Director, the Youth Development Specialist delivers quality programs and high-yield art specific activities to Club members. Utilizes the organization’s mission, vision, and values to set members up for success and provide an outcome-driven Club experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to program development and facilitation, program area safety and cleanliness, and providing guidance to volunteers. If 21 or older, responsibilities may include transporting members. This position will have an emphasis on soccer within the upcoming season.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES : Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Develops, organizes, and facilitates programs and activities utilizing a formal curriculum.
• Directly runs programming and high-yield activities in assigned area.
• Implement programming that motivates youth to enjoy physical activity, develop athletic skills and learn positive sportsmanship.
• Plan and coordinate sport events and tournaments to showcase youth’s achievements and foster a sense of heathy competition.
• Administers outcome measurement tools.
• Delivers programs with an enthusiastic, high-energy, positive attitude
