Job Summary
As a Supply Chain Systems Analyst at BPMI, you will perform routine business functions to support company operations in areas including, but not limited to being responsible for the complete supply chain management life cycle, including components, equipment, and repair parts supporting naval nuclear propulsion plants and training platforms. Cognizant areas may include requirements determination via shipboard configuration management, repair part provisioning, and ship availability planning, supply and demand management, inventory control and storage, material movement authorization, transportation coordination, in service support, and disposal authorization.
This position involves frequent interaction with internal engineering, contract, and finance teams, as well as external suppliers, shipyards, and government representatives. Strong understanding and application of supply chain principles and business system protocols is essential, with an emphasis on data analysis, process efficiency, and system support.
Essential Duties :
Assist the process steps and information flow for assigned supply chain functions (e.g., inventory planning and management, material movement, ship and component configuration, maintenance applications).Collect and analyze data from business systems to validate accuracy and effectiveness.Identify potential errors in data streams and recommend solutions.Support the development of formal recommendations for Government approval.Assist in auditing and maintaining business system data.Support supply chain processes and recommend improvements under supervision.Coordinate with Government logistics representatives and internal teams to meet program requirements.Support testing activities for business system improvements.Assist with providing field support for logistics-based products.Compile and manage stand-alone reports (e.g., classified shipment reports, asset risk assessment reports, production status reports), resolving issues with support.Update and review cyclic activities with management and subject matter experts.The essential duties identified are representative but are not intended to be an exhaustive or inclusive list of all the responsibilities of the position.What You Can Expect :

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration with Supply Chain Concentration, or equivalent education from an accredited college or university.Eight (8) or more years of completed education and / or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience requirements.Requires a security clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance is required.Preferred Job Requirements :
Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred for recent college graduates.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and other commonly used business applications.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational planning skills, with the ability to identify trends in large data sets and make informed recommendations based on data analysis.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships, both internally and externally.Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
