Position Summary :
The Corporate Receptionist manages front desk operations, provides administrative support, and ensures a positive first impression for everyone who walks through our doors. This position requires strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and handles multiple priorities with professionalism and grace.
Location :
This position is based onsite at our corporate office in Olathe, Kansas.
Schedule :
Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m. (includes a one-hour lunch break)
Compensation :
Pay up to $23 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience :
At least one year of previous receptionist or administrative experience, preferably in a corporate setting
Preferred Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and time management
Confidence in managing electronic filing systems
Professional demeanor and courteous interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Licensure / Requirements :
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Key Responsibilities :
Front Desk & Visitor Management :
Greet visitors with professionalism and ensure they are directed appropriately
Manage a multi-line phone system and respond to inquiries via phone and email
Maintain visitor log, issue badges, and follow security procedures
Support interview scheduling and visitor communications
Keep reception and conference areas neat and organized
Administrative Support :
Assist with mail processing, scanning, copying, and document preparation
Manage supply inventory and vendor coordination (shipping, shredding, storage, etc.)
Coordinate with Finance and Facilities teams on building or maintenance needs
Book conference rooms, arrange meetings, and assist with senior staff projects
Support company vehicle tracking, scheduling, and reporting
Professional Conduct :
Demonstrate positivity, reliability, and professionalism in every interaction
Communicate clearly and respectfully across all levels of the organization
Maintain confidentiality and uphold KVC’s values in all work activities
Physical Requirements :
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and perform light office tidying
Visual and auditory acuity adequate to perform essential duties
