Job description

Law firm's practice group that is specialized and lucrative segment of legal practice, focusing on the intersection of commercial real estate and securities law is seeking a highly motivated and exceptionally qualified associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its nationally recognized CMBS practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas :

  • Securitization Law : Structuring and processing commercial mortgage securities.
  • Real Estate Finance : Advising on financing transactions for commercial properties.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensuring compliance with securities regulations and laws governing mortgage-backed securities.
  • Litigation and Disputes : Handling legal disputes that arise from CMBS transactions or servicing agreements.

Dealing with assets such as :

  • Retail properties
  • Office buildings
  • Industrial spaces
  • Multi-family residential complexes
  • Working with clients such as :

  • Investment Banks.
  • Real Estate Developers and Owners
  • Institutional Investors
  • Commercial Lenders :
  • Qualifications

    Deep understanding of financial markets, real estate, and relevant regulatory considerations to effectively serve a diverse and sophisticated clientele.

  • General finance transactions
  • Securities and capital markets transactions
  • Real estate finance, including capital markets experience
  • Commercial real estate lending and securitization, including modifications, workouts, and servicing transactions
  • Require expertise in property law, finance, and regulatory frameworks specific to the commercial real estate sector.

    Why is This a Great Opportunity

    In accordance with pay transparency laws, the estimated compensation range for this position is $215,000 to $280,000 for an associate with 3-6 years of experience. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including relevant experience, skill sets, and market data. The range is based on a full-time work schedule.
