You're a proactive and organized Logistics Manager with a strong background in planning, organizing, and managing the flow of goods and materials. With expertise in coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and optimizing transportation routes, you excel at ensuring timely deliveries and efficient use of resources. Your problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail ensure that operations run smoothly and that logistics challenges are resolved quickly and effectively.

In the role of Logistics Manager, your duties will include :

• Supply chain Management : Oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring that goods are delivered on time and in the right condition. To include managing relationships with suppliers and transportation providers.
• Inventory Control : Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
• Transportation Management : Determining the most efficient and cost-effective transportation methods for all shipments. The ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and track those shipments for a timely delivery.
• Team Leadership : Manage and train logistics staff, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve operational goals.
• Budget Management : Analyze budgets and financial reports to ensure that logistic operations are cost-effective. Identify areas for reduction and efficiency improvements.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award and will be located OCONUS.
