The facility features 21-bed general medical / surgical units specializing in digestive disease care for patients with complex GI diagnoses and nursing care requirements, including bariatric and autologous islet cell programs. The units serve patients 17 years and older, with potential for adolescent patients in specialized programs. The facility utilizes a modified modular nursing model to enhance teamwork and delivers complex nursing care through multiple medical services including luminal, hepatology, and GI surgery services.
