Overview
Designated Coordinator with a 1000 Hiring Bonus at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. This role oversees program management for homes supporting individuals with disabilities, ensuring guidance, encouragement, support, safety, and independence for residents. The position involves supervision of Direct Support Professionals, financial responsibilities, and coordination with counties, families, and community organizations. Hours are primarily Monday–Friday, with availability for emergencies as needed.
Job Summary
As a Designated Coordinator, you will :
- Oversee program management for homes supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Ensure health and wellness needs are met, promote independence, and help residents achieve outcomes, hopes, and dreams through relationship building.
- Monitor and assure medication administration and medical treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain individual plans and financial records per regulations and program policies.
- Supervise, support, train, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals to advocate for individuals.
- Handle accounts payable, payroll records, petty cash / individual accounts, and budget monitoring.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counties, families, stakeholders, and community organizations.
- Maintain documentation, engage in record keeping, and participate in periodic meetings / trainings.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Pay : Annual salary of $48,500.

A bachelor's degree in a field related to Human Services with one year of full-time direct care experience for persons with disabilities or age 65 and older; ORAn associate's degree in a related field with two years of full-time direct care experience for persons with disabilities or age 65 and older; ORA diploma in a related field from an accredited postsecondary institution with three years of full-time direct care experience for persons with disabilities or age 65 and older; ORA minimum of 50 hours of related education and training and four years of full-time direct care experience under supervision of qualified staff.Additional Requirements :
