Boeing Global Services is currently looking for an Entry-Level C-17 Systems Simulator Test Engineer to join our team. This is an entry-level test engineering position and part of a diverse team of engineers and subject matter experts.

This includes, but is not limited to, products within our Air Dominance (AD), Phantom Works (PW), Weapons (SI&WS), Government Services (BGS), and Test & Evaluation (BT&E) divisions / business units - Products within the portfolio may include : Fighters (F-15 & F / A-18), T-7A Trainers, MQ-25, F-47, Precision Engagement Systems (JDAM, SDB, etc), Government Services (F-22, P-8, Vertical lift, Apache, Support Equipment, Trainers), other.

Position Responsibilities :

Understand and apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts

Develop, document and maintain system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirements

Analyze, translate and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle

Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

Coordination among other engineering disciplines to ensure technical rigor on IPT scope

Participate in technical reviews and provide feedback to ensure compliance with certification standards

Perform analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties' quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success

Support the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risks, issues, and opportunities (RIO) managements, and technology readiness assessment processes

Travel is required; domestically and / or Internationally depending on business needs

Off shift and weekend work may also be required to meet contractual milestones, objectives and delivery schedules

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Experience with one (or more) of the following : Cameo, MSOSA, Rhapsody, DOORS, SysML, Cadece / Pspice, Python, C#, JavaScript, Visual Studio, Subversion, Azure DevOps, Git, CAFTA, ReliaSoft or FaultTree+ Strong academic performance and technical experience as demonstrated through technical projects, research or engineering internships

Ability to travel 25% of the time domestically and / or internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

C-17 aircraft and simulator experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range : $68,000 - $92,000
