Overview
The position requires at least 10-years of combined industry and government acquisition experience of which 4-years shall include duties / assignments specifically in support of defense acquisition programs. Experience with nuclear delivery systems highly desired. Master's Degree (B / S) in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.
Responsibilities
- The applicant will help define military nuclear delivery system scope, requirements, configurations, and identify, track, and quantify technical, cost, and schedule risks in a science and technology environment
- The applicant will be responsible for developing and delivering cost estimates and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for nuclear delivery defense acquisition projects
- Applicant will be responsible for creating estimates using ACEIT software
- Applicant will be responsible for understanding EVM and schedule estimating, substantiation of confidence level generation, and schedule / prediction analysis to monitor / extrapolate cost / schedule performance during mission execution
- The applicant should be familiar with stochastic modeling and have an understanding of how to apply sophisticated statistical and analytical techniques and convey the meaning of the results to DOD decision makers
- This position has daily interfaces with government personnel, prime contractors, and regular travel to Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), NM and occasional travel to other government and contractor facilities.
