The Accounts Payable / Billing Specialist is a critical role which is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable entries, auditing employee expense reports and vendor statements and enforcing internal controls as they relate to A / P. This role also plays a key part in making sure our customers are billed accurately and timely. This position does not supervise others.

Position Summary
The Accounts Payable / Billing Specialist is a critical role which is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable entries, auditing employee expense reports and vendor statements and enforcing internal controls as they relate to A / P. This role also plays a key part in making sure our customers are billed accurately and timely. This position does not supervise others.
Post accounts payable transactions, ensuring proper general ledger codingAnalyze A / P related data to identify outliers, potential accruals, spend by vendor and other ad hoc requestsGenerate vendor payments via check, ACH, credit card or wire transferReview monthly vendor statements and handle vendor inquiries regarding outstanding paymentsAudit employee expense reports in Concur and submit file to Human Resources for reimbursementReconcile company credit card statements and record expenses in general ledgerPrepare and file 1099 tax returnsAssist Billing Analyst with processing billing cycles and special billing for key customersUpload customer invoices to payment portalsCreate bills of sale associated with asset disposalsAssist with audit requestsQualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in an accounting / finance roleStrong attention to detail with excellent follow-up skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentRobust Microsoft Office skillsFlexible and adaptable to changing workflow and needs of the businessFocus on providing world class customer serviceAbility to maintain confidential informationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesExperience with Microsoft Navision or another ERP system, Concur and bank interfaces is a plusEqual Opportunity Employer
