Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) role in California requiring a current CA RN license and recent PICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit caring for critically ill children
  • Pediatric patient population requiring intensive care
  • 12-hour shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 8 : 00 PM
  • 36 hours per week on a 9-week contract assignment
  • Uses Epic electronic medical record system
  • Must submit copies of valid license and certifications for consideration
  • Holiday and weekend shifts may be required based on scheduling needs
  • Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • Must comply with assignment limits and rest periods as specified by facility HR policy
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position

    • Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
  • Minimum 1 year of recent (within past 3 years) full-time equivalent PICU experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • BLS and PALS certifications required
  • All licenses and certifications must be active, pending not accepted
  • Submission requires last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth
