About The Position

We are seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a 21-day locum tenens assignment in Wyoming. This position starts Sep 1, 2025, with a schedule of 7a-7p shifts, requiring 7-14 shifts per month, typically structured as 7 days on followed by 7 days off. The role involves collaboration with an emergency department and a dedicated COVID team in a Trauma facility with an open ICU.

Responsibilities and Duties

Collaborate closely with the emergency department to manage airway emergencies and other critical situations.

Handle responsibilities in an open ICU setting including ventilator management, central lines, and intubation.

Support attending hospitalist throughout the shift, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Coordinate with various specialty consultants including Nephrology, Tele-ICU, Tele-Psych, and Radiology.

Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient management.

Additional Information

Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Wyoming

Experience in inpatient and acute care settings is required
