Job description

Warehouse Operation (Nashville, TN)

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing system checks and machinery maintenance, assisting in the installation of warehouse software and automation systems, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and documenting maintenance and inventory transactions. Working under general supervision, the operator supports inbound logistics, ensures quality control, and maintains facility cleanliness and orderliness, focusing on high-quality processes and patient safety compliance.

Your role :

  • Ensure efficient dock operations by overseeing the loading, unloading, and organization of materials, while preparing and staging equipment for deployment and inspection.
  • Manage reclamation and processing of recycled materials to support sustainability initiatives and coordinate with external vendors for tracking truck movements, deliveries, and pickups.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments with thorough verification of documentation, packing lists, and quality standards, ensuring compliance before release.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, and respond promptly to urgent orders to maintain supply to healthcare facilities.

You're the right fit if :

  • 1+ years experience as a warehouse operator with usage of a WMS in Medical business or highly regulated business
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Expertise in operational excellence through Lean methodologies, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives, combined with strong skills in root cause analysis (RCA), regulatory compliance, and escalation management.
  • Proven ability in resource planning, people management, and partner / stakeholder management, with experience in capability assessment and service operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • How we work together : We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations. This is an onsite role.

    Philips Transparency Details : The hourly pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is $19.11 to $30.58, plus overtime eligibility. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge / skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
