As a Security Professional - Residential Access Control in Paradise Valley, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting residents and guests, and delivering exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Monitor and control access to the residential community, verifying identification and / or credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors as required by site-specific procedures.Provide customer service by assisting residents and guests with inquiries and directions, while carrying out security-related procedures and policies.Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious activity.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.Collaborate with property management and / or emergency services when appropriate during emergency response activities.What We're Looking For :

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
