Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Operating Room RN / OR Tech Location This position is located in West Virginia. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week; Monday to Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM. There is a weekday and weekend call rotation, with one holiday call required as needed. Job Description The Operating Room RN or OR Tech will be responsible for assisting in various surgical procedures in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and care during operations. This role includes circulating cases and managing room turnovers alongside other OR staff. Responsibilities Assist in all surgical procedures except Open Heart. Handle neuro spine surgeries, total joints, and general surgical cases. Ensure efficient room turnover and maintain cleanliness and organization in the OR environment. Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation. Collaborate with surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2-3 years of experience in operating room nursing or as an OR Tech. 2-3 previous travel assignments are required. Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS for RNs; BLS for OR Techs (CST preferred). Orthopedic and Neurological experience is preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
