The Role You’ll Play

As a Jail Liaison , you’ll serve as a vital connection between Pawnee Mental Health and local correctional facilities, ensuring that individuals with mental health needs receive care and support, both during incarceration and as they transition back into the community. Your work will help bridge critical service gaps, promote recovery, and support successful reentry.

Requirements : Required :

Bachelor’s degree in a human service field or equivalent work experience, or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education with one year of experience substituting for one year of education required. Knowledge of the needs and challenges of adults who experience Severe and Persistent Mental Illness and youth with Severe Emotional Disturbance preferred .

Two years of experience in mental health, criminal justice, and / or case management settings.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite, especially Teams.

All employees will be required to submit to and pass a background check and drug screening.
