Our 64-bed NEUROSCIENCE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT specializes in treating patients with neurological injuries and diseases that may require endovascular intervention brain and spinal tumors subarachnoid hemorrhages and neuro-trauma patients. As a Center of Excellence for Neuroscience we have the largest number of Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurses (CNRN) in the country. Position Summary :

Assess patient / family health problems and resources taking a leadership role in the development implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care.

• Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.
• Position requires providing service to one or more age groups including young adults through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional / developmental age of the individual served.
• Position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the organization.
• It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
• The employee will support the organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the hospital wide performance improvement plan.

Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time employees can receive up to $18000 over five years while part-time employees can receive up to $9000. Advanced Practice Providers and Faculty Physicians can receive up to $90000 if full-time and hired within a year of completing their residency or fellowship. Part-time providers can receive up to $45000.

Job Requirements

Minimum :

One year recent acute care experience

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State

Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification

Preferred :

BSN

Special Skills :

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range

$35.00 - $58.63 / hour
