About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Team Lead to serve as a key liaison between business operations and IT teams. The role focuses on analyzing business processes, identifying automation opportunities, and translating operational goals into technical requirements. The ideal candidate will provide both strategic and hands-on business analysis support while leading coordination between cross-functional stakeholders from requirements gathering through implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams to deliver efficient digital and process solutions.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and oversee associated change management.
Analyze existing processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or system improvement.
Support process redesign, documentation, and implementation of enhanced workflows and systems.
Educate IT teams on business direction and align initiatives to strategic goals.
Facilitate communications to negotiate requirements, priorities, and delivery expectations between stakeholders.
Monitor emerging technology trends and recommend solutions that strengthen business efficiency.
Support buy vs build evaluations and present options to key decision makers.
Manage multiple moderate complexity projects or workstreams, occasionally serving as project leader.
Mentor and support junior business analysts on process documentation and requirement best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven expertise translating business needs into technical requirements and functional designs.
Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and business process improvement.
Several years of relevant technical or business analysis experience (intermediate to advanced level).
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives, collaborate effectively, and work cross functionally with IT and business teams.
Experience with stakeholder engagement, requirements elicitation, and change control processes.
Preferred Skills
Experience with process automation, systems integration, or enterprise applications.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities with a focus on quality and consistency.
