Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our esteemed land development team in Leesburg, VA. You will play a pivotal role in preparing site design plans and working collaboratively across various teams and disciplines to deliver exceptional land development projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare site design plans for client review and submission to various local jurisdictions.

Develop site layouts, zoning plans, site gradings, and stormwater calculations for land development submissions.

Perform comprehensive site development and design.

Manage stormwater systems, plan preparation, grading, and report writing.

Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams and disciplines.

Essential Skills

0-4+ years of civil engineering experience in land development projects.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is highly preferred.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

Passed FE / EIT certification is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in Land Development Design, including Storm Sewer Design, Sanitary Sewer Design, Waterline layout, and Site Grading.

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification or plans to obtain it is preferred.

The role operates within an open office, cubicle environment fostering collaboration and a strong office culture. There is hybrid work flexibility available once you have settled into the role, with the frequency typically decided between you and your manager.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Leesburg, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00 / yr.
