Summary : Provide essential patient care by assisting with daily activities and monitoring patient conditions. Report any unusual changes promptly to the healthcare team. Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies within the patient unit. Perform assigned NAII procedures with care and attention.
Work Environment : This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting, including turning and lifting patients. Exposure to blood and body fluids is possible, requiring adherence to safety protocols. Strong visual and auditory skills are necessary for patient observation.
Skills & Abilities : Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Ability to follow supervision from a multidisciplinary team and adapt to varying work schedules is important. Basic computer skills and understanding of age-specific patient needs are required.
Education & Certifications : Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant credential registered with the state registry. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Experience : Prior experience in a medical surgical setting is preferred but not mandatory. Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills and techniques are valued.
