Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist :

• Operate CT scanners to obtain diagnostic images of specific body areas with high accuracy and quality.
• Greet patients, verify identification, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Take comprehensive patient histories, including medication and allergy review.
• Administer contrast media using proper venipuncture techniques and monitor for any complications.
• Assist physicians with invasive procedures and ensure accurate documentation of medications and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety through appropriate radiation reduction techniques and positioning practices.
• Collaborate professionally with radiologists, physicians, and team members to maintain workflow and deliver exceptional care.
• Adhere to all hospital and imaging center policies, maintaining core values and high patient satisfaction.
• Maintain imaging equipment, dosimeters, and ensure compliance with safety and quality assurance standards.
