JOB DESCRIPTION
A dynamic contractor in the area is looking for a driven Structural Engineer as they continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial construction and have OSHA 10 / 30 Certification.
They have a strong and highly skilled group focused on teamwork and collaboration. Their compensation package is competitive including bonuses and a 401K program.
This position is in the field, working at different job sites in Arizona (Must be willing to travel)
Structural Engineer Requirements :
- Commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10 / 30 Certification
- 5-7 years of experience working on commercial buildings
Structural Engineer Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5-7 years’ experience in related field
- Ability to pass a Secret Security Clearance
- Strong structural analysis background with demonstrated work experience and knowledge as a structural analyst
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with finite element analysis, classical stress and strain methodology, engineering statics, and structural mechanics
- Computer skills with standard word experience
- Ability to listen effectively, take direction, and possess initiative to accomplish assigned tasks and complete work in a timely fashion
- FEMAP, NX NASTRAN, MathCAD experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic problem-solving skills
