About The Position

Registered Nurse / Correctional :

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (11 : 00 - 23 : 30)

Description :

Provides comprehensive nursing care to inmates within a correctional facility, including medication administration, health assessments, and emergency response. Monitors patients with chronic or acute conditions and collaborates with physicians and mental health staff. Ensures adherence to safety, security, and infection control protocols while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Shift : 3x12s, 11a-1130p. No block scheduling accommodations

Call Requirements : N / A

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend / 2 weekends per month

Guaranteed Hours : 36

Years of experience REQ : 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med / Surg. Correctional experience preferred.

Certs REQ : BLS

Locals accepted : Yes -locals preferred. Must live within 75 miles of the facility.

Pending License accepted : No
