Summary :
The Compliance Testing Analyst will assist management in executing the Bank's compliance testing program for assigned bank products including products offered through Strategic Partner's ("SPs").
Key Responsibilities :
- Compliance Testing Program Execution : Coordinate with management to conduct, and evaluate compliance tests, providing clear and actionable findings and recommendations.
- Knowledge : Possess a basic knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry best practices applicable to the bank's lending products. Including but not limited to UDAAP, UDAP, ECOA, EFTA, FDCPA, GLBA, FCRA, TILA, MLA, and SCRA.
- Communication : Communicate complex information to management pertaining to testing results from assigned tests. Both verbal and written communication.
- Reporting & Responding : Prepare and compile testing scripts as scheduled and testing documentation upon request from management.
- Recommendations & Guidance : Advise and provide guidance to the Compliance Testing management team.
- Projects & Other Job Duties : Ad hoc projects and other job duties, as assigned.
- Timeliness : Must be able to work under strict testing SLAs and be able to communicate requests for deadline extensions in a timely manner.
- Decision Making : Must be able to collaborate effectively with management to make recommendations in a way that is consistent, explainable, and actionable.
Specifications :
Basic knowledge of lending rules and regulations, as applicable to bank products and products offered through Strategic Partners.Basic Experience with small-dollar, high-cost loans, deposits, and mortgage loans is preferred but not required.Experience performing testing and monitoring activities, preferably in a complex, multi-faceted financial institution.One to two years of experience performing daily tasks applicable to a Compliance Testing program.High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.Ability to use sound judgment and make critical decisions regarding compliance with manager supervision.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to present complex information in an understandable and relatable manner when presenting to peers and management.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
