Staff Paid Search Analyst at Realtor.com
Location : Austin, TX
We are seeking a Staff Paid Search Analyst, Digital Marketing to help build and implement technical solutions to key Search Engine Marketing (SEM) problems.
This individual will partner with Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams to take our search practice to the next level through automation and performing novel analyses that uncover campaign optimization opportunities.
This self-starting, senior team member will collaborate with fellow SEM practitioners to ideate, define, and execute on ’s strategy for search engine marketing across partner platforms.
What you’ll do :
- Build and iterate on SEM products that drive business results. Research, design and build proof of concept products and then work to scale and automate your solutions.
- Partner with data science and engineering on a litany of SEM focused solutions, including but not limited to proving optimal bidding curves, budget allocation algorithms, automating campaign creation, incrementality and A B tests, building audiences, landing page optimization, DSA page feeds and more
- Automate continuous campaign performance monitoring.
- Identify gaps in Search Term coverage and opportunities to optimize results based on Query intent.
- Audit RDC’s tracking and tagging for search to identify gaps
- Work to resolve ad hoc technical issues in the channel, be the primary technical contact with search vendors and internal engineering
- Partner with Data Science and Ad Platform teams to design and launch high-quality tests, and monitor tests for improvement opportunities

What you'll bring :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, or economics preferred, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of Data Analysis Experience and 3+ years of relevant analytical experience in Paid Search Marketing & SEM
- Highly proficient with SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g. Python) to solve problems and manipulate data at scale.
- Organized and critical thinker who has an eye for scalable, efficient solutions.
- Clear record of defining and executing key analyses and tests that generate measurable insights with minimal direction.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral); ability to present findings to peers and leadership alike.
- Expert knowledge of Google Ads and related products
