OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients and possess a strong understanding of speech therapy practices. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, with a focus on early intervention strategies to promote effective communication skills.
- Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions tailored for pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate families on communication strategies and techniques to reinforce therapy goals at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong background in pediatrics, including knowledge of developmental milestones related to speech and language.
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with early intervention practices and strategies for supporting children with communication challenges.
