THE WORK

This position is for an engineer to work in the production lab and primarily the Ship Lab. The position will require supporting development lab to Ship Lab testing along with aircraft and flight testing to Ship Lab. There will be between 200 - 300 government furnished assets to track and manage. Use of the problem trouble reporting (PTR) database through JIRA will be required. Procedure updates will also be required in the Mission Production Lab (MPL). Working with the MPL manager is key along with engineers supporting subsystems on the platform. Responsibility of this position are to ensure the labs are configured properly, operational and ready to support testing. Other responsibilities include solutioning lab issues when they occur, upgrading the lab to align with program requirements, and providing status to the lab manager on a regular basis.

Basic Qualifications :

Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Ability to work on site.

High School Degree

Basic Troubleshooting experience

Strong written skills.

familiar with JIRA.

self-starter and motivated

Experience with Microsoft Office products

Ability to work overtime and / or off shift when required.

Ability to write and follow procedures

Desired Skills :

Experience in a production environment.

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Keen eye for detecting defects and problems.

Proficiency in the site metrology process

4 year degree : Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with 1+ years of experience.

2 year degree : with 4+ years of experience.

Experience with purchasing parts.

Experience with Capital Equipment Request's (CER's)

Experience with Overhead

Experience with Basis of Estimates (BOE's)

Experience in leading cross-disciplinary teams

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $84,300 - $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
