Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Step-Down (Neuro ICU Stepdown)

📍 Location : Neptune, NJ

💵 Pay : $49–$56 per hour

🕒 Schedule : Full-time | Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) | 3×12-hr shifts

📅 Weekends & Holidays : Required as needed

🌀 Float : Yes, to like units

🚫 On-Call : None

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU Step-Down Unit with a focus on Neuro / Stroke / Neurosurgery patients. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

✅ ASN (Associate Degree in Nursing)

✅ Current NJ RN License or Compact License

✅ BLS (AHA)

✅ ACLS (AHA)

✅ NIHSS Certification

✅ Telemetry Competency

✅ 4-hour Stroke CEU

✅ Minimum 2 years RN experience in MS / Tele in major acute care setting

✅ Strong MS / Tele background

✅ Epic EMR experience

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ BSN

⭐ 5+ years RN experience

⭐ Ventilator experience

⭐ Post-cardiac & post-surgical experience

⭐ Neuro / Stroke / Neurosurgery background
